It has come to my attention that unfortunately, not everyone is a Star Wars geek. Seeing as this website is meant for anyone who likes Star Wars, from those who think it's OK to those totally obsessed with it (like myself), I thought I should provide a quick explanation into some of the nerdier terms used here.
What in the galaxy does DarthJawa mean?!
"Darth" is the title given to all Sith Lords (that's like the evil version of a Jedi). Like Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, Darth Tyranous, Darth Plaguis, Darth Maul... I could go on and on and on...
In Star Wars, Jawas are small, hooded creatures who live on the planet Tatooine (that's like a giant desert), searching for scrap metal and droids to repair and sell. Their most famous phrase is "Utinni!" which has absoluteley no meaning whatsoever, and is used in the credits of most DarthJawa videos. A Jawa is depicted in the DarthJawa Productions logo.
So I thought it would be funny if there was an evil, Sith, Jawa somewhere. That's how DarthJawa Productions got its name.
